As an African, here's my hot take:
"X is for intellectuals"
until you see half the timeline is Americans recycling outdated poverty-porn memes and Al-generated racist mockery toward India for bidding to host the Olympics.
If X is truly for “intellectuals,” someone forgot to inform the Western trolls that India arguably has the largest absolute number of educated graduates in the world 🤯. You have to respect that!
If X is to remain a credible intellectual hub, let’s have the real intellectual discourse that:
If a billionaire with no public office can preach about which sovereign country needs regime change, then the public has right to challenge platform owners who amplify online hate mobs.
This is a message I want everyone across Africa, the Middle East, Asia, the Americas and beyond to finally agree on.
🇵🇰 Can any Pakistani confirm if it is true?
I have heard that the Asim Munir-led Shehbaz Sharif government has imposed president’s rule (Martial law) in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to remove opposition Imran Khan’s party from power.
So why have BBC News, CNN, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and other Western media giants not reported it?
