This is what Israel calls a Palestinian terror attack:
A Palestinian man took his 17-year-old son with him to try to put out a fire Israeli settlers had started in their fields
Israeli settlers shot his son in the neck at point-blank range then kept shooting as he lay dying on the ground
They shot another young Palestinian who was there in the leg, then shot him dead as he tried to crawl away
Israeli soldiers were there the whole time and only started shooting when other Palestinians who were there tried to fight back
This is not “settler violence
This is genocide
genuinely feel so bad for armys who didn’t live through bts_twt active era cos you really just had to be there. the post concert selfies, jungkook destroying his stomach lining eating six cups of ramen, jimin faking namjin dating rumours…. what a time
Netanyahu just said out loud
“As long as I am prime minister, there will be no Palestinian state.”
He didn’t reject a ceasefire clause. He rejected the idea that Palestinians get a state at all, ever, anywhere. There is no ambiguity left to hide behind. Genocide in daylight
I’ve read 900 of these ponderous “why is Israel losing support?” pieces and they always opaquely refer to “the war in Gaza” or “Israel’s conduct”
Israel killed, on avg, 86 children a day from Oct 2023 - Feb 2024 for all to see. “War in Gaza” doesnt really capture this does it?
Does Israel have a right to exist?
Dr. Abdul El-Sayed: "Nobody ever asks whether Palestine has a right to exist. Israel exists. A better question is: Does Israel have a right to our tax dollars?"
Oh and before all of you other fandoms talk shit and get it twisted, ARIRANG IS the album of the year. SWIM IS the song of the year. And lastly, BTS IS THE ARTIST OF THE YEAR. The numbers don’t fucking lie.
BTS spent years opening doors that weren’t built for them. now they have the freedom to decide which ones are worth walking through. bts are truly living legends.
#Opinion | Popstars BTS have spent years proving they belong on the world's biggest stage. They've topped charts, sold out stadiums and built fanbases that stretch across continents. And every single time they seem ready to be judged by the same standards as everyone else, the rules somehow change. The septet choosing not to submit their record-breaking album Arirang for the 2027 Grammy Awards is one of biggest and bold moves in recent times, following The Weeknd who stopped submitting his music since 2021.

paving the way doesnt always mean the first to win an award, it means the one who makes impact where it matters and allows for those who follow in their footsteps to be seen and treated fairly too. that is what bts are doing, and that takes courage
