Are there some situations today that you need to leave alone? You’re striving, trying to force it, living stressed, but nothing’s changing. Why don’t you come back to a place of peace. God hasn’t brought you this far to leave you.
Don’t live in fear, shrinking back, thinking, “The odds are against me. The opposition is too strong. I can’t accomplish my dream.” No, arise and shine. The glory of God is on you.

The enemy would love to get us distracted fighting battles that don’t matter. You don’t have time to waste responding to people who are never going to be for you. Don’t spend your valuable time dealing with a weed. Ignore the weeds.
When you ask boldly, when you ask in faith, declaring God’s greatness, that’s when He’ll bless you indeed. He’ll make things happen that you could never make happen. Could it be that you’re not seeing God’s greatness because you’re praying weak prayers?
Difficult people are all around. There will be someone who can steal your joy, offend you, leave you out, say something that’s not true. The key is to handle it the right way. Don’t take the bait.
Your body may age, but you don’t have to get old. Your spirit is alive and fresh and energetic. Keep declaring what God promised. “My youth is being renewed. Lord I thank You like Moses, I will stay strong, healthy. I will shine at every age of my life.”
Be inspired by this message from Joel, "This Is Your Best Age". https://t.co/v5OAg8hxlL
The mistake we can make is that we discount people based on their age. When you’re older, it’s easy to discount the young. It’s not how you were raised. They’re not doing it the way you did. But God is progressive. He does new things. The same message, but different methods.
Paul said it this way, “Outwardly this house that I live in may be perishing, but inwardly I’m being renewed day by day.” He was saying, “Things may be aging on the outside, but inwardly I’m refreshed, I’m renewed.” Your attitude determines your age more than your birthday.
If you’re worrying, if you’re praying from a place of doubt, defeat, “God, why is this happening? When is it going to work out?” That’s going to limit you. Pray from a place of victory. Pray what God promised you.
Are you going to spend your life unhappy, waiting for people and circumstances to do what you want, and then you’ll enjoy your life? That’s the wrong way to live. You’re putting your happiness in other people’s hands. You’re letting your joy be dependent on the circumstances. You have to take control of your happiness.
When we think we’re falling behind, it’s easy to get impatient and try to force things to happen. But God knows how to make up for lost time. He can thrust you ahead.

When you know who you are, when you know you’ve been equipped and empowered, when you know God being for you is more than the world being against you, you won’t run from your enemies. You’ll run toward your enemies.
What if the version of you God sees is greater than the one you’ve been believing?
In my new book, “Rediscovering the Forgotten You,” you’ll be reminded that God’s truth defines us… not our past, nor our circumstances.
You are more than enough because of who He says you are. Start believing what God says about you and watch your life begin to reflect it. Grab your copy today!

Jesus didn’t try to change every person’s mind. He didn’t answer every critic. The enemy would love to deceive us into becoming loud clanging cymbals. It takes maturity not to get drawn into the wrong battles.
A suburban woman’s trip to see a concert in Chicago ended in a nightmare when she mistakenly got into this man’s car, thinking it was her Uber ride home, prosecutors say.
An Elmhurst cop found the “Uber driver” sexually assaulting the woman on Route 83.

Colossians 3 says, “You must clothe yourself with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Make allowances for each other’s faults, and forgive the person who offends as Christ has forgiven you.” After Paul listed all these qualities we need to put on each day, he finished by saying, “And the most important piece of clothing you must wear is love.”
Don’t fight where you are; embrace where you are. Make the most of each day. Don’t get so focused on the future that you miss the beauty of this day. Don’t let the past keep you from seeing the good things in your life right now.
The Scripture says, “Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds” (Hebrews 10:24). When someone you know can’t seem to do anything right, God says to think about how you can spur them on toward love. You dwell on what might help them. You don’t give up on them and think they can’t change.
