Whilst blading is an approved College of Policing public-order technique, the level of force in this incident, multiple officers swarming and repeatedly striking one man with the edges of their shields, looks disproportionate. From the longer videos he was standing peacefully to the side doing nothing until they dragged him away from the wall. They should have been able to restrain him without that level of violence. The tactic may be trained, but the application here raises serious questions about necessity and proportionality.

Afghan calls me to buy my moped (deliveroo)- agreed price and time.

Turns up over an hour late with 4 other men as my family are having dinner.

All 5 shouting at me in the street, haggling over the price for about half an hour as my food goes cold on the grounds that they drove a long way (same distance as it was when we agreed a price).
