Kicking off Floating Offshore Wind 2025 co-hosted with @ScotRenew , RenewableUK Deputy CEO Jane Cooper welcomes delegates to P&J Live in Aberdeen 🌊

Jane tells the conference that despite challenging headwinds, the offshore wind sector has seen tangible progress, with 2 successive upcoming auctions securing floating, Odfjell Oceanwind confirming that its Deepsea Star™ design has received Basic Design Approval (BDA) for use with Siemens Gamesa’s 15 MW turbine and landmark investment in the North of Scotland such as Sumitomo Electric £350 million cables factory in the port of Nigg 🛠️
