Instagram has suspended the account of Palestinian journalist Anas Al-Shareef, one of the last reporters in northern Gaza

The Al-Jazeera journalists account that had 1.2 million followers and had garnered billions of views, was suddenly deleted by Instagram, silencing the most prominent journalist in northern Gaza during Israel’s besiegement of the territory. This comes following false claims made against the journalist by the Israeli military. Anas’s backup account is anas.jamal33 where he is still continuing to post in an attempt to break through the censorship.
