Thank you Connor. I eat live and sleep boxing. Nothing else, I have no interest in going out hanging around in groups, girls, anything that can affect my daily routine training & boxing. I want to be the best champion I can possibly be. 🥊🏴🌎 🤴🏽
“I’ll be happy when…”
Sounds familiar doesn’t it?
We’ve all been there before—truly believing that our happiness hinges on some future event or circumstance.
But here's the thing: It’s not true. It’s a lie we've all been telling ourselves.
Let me share the truth with you…
Happiness is not something to be postponed or dependent on external factors. It’s not about achieving a certain goal or reaching a specific milestone.
Happiness starts from within—it’s an inside job and it's available to you right here.
Right now.
While achieving certain things can make life easier or more comfortable, it's important to recognize that they won't automatically make you happier.
Money, for example, can provide financial security and ease certain burdens. Yes, it can allow you to live a certain lifestyle, but it won't bring lasting happiness.
Instead of waiting for some future event to bring happiness, start cultivating joy in your daily life:
1. Practice gratitude:
Take a moment each day to appreciate the blessings in your life, big and small. Shift your focus to what you have rather than what you lack.
2. Embrace the journey:
Happiness is found in the process, not just the end result. Set meaningful goals and enjoy the progress you make along the way.
3. Take care of yourself:
Prioritize self-care and well-being.
Nurture your:
• physical
• mental
• emotional health
through activities that bring you joy and fulfillment.
4. Cultivate positive relationships:
Surround yourself with supportive and uplifting people who contribute to your happiness. Foster connections that bring out the best in you.
5. Practice mindfulness:
Stay present in the moment, fully experiencing and savoring the joys that surround you.
Let go of worries about the past or future and focus on the beauty of the present.
Remember, happiness is not a far-off destination.
It's a choice you make each day to nurture your well-being and find joy in the journey.
@BWallaceMP Any timeline please on when the armed forces pay review body will announce their recommendations, and, when will this reflect in AF pay packets?
