I see a lot of people getting hysterical about my suggestion that the British should be allowed to bear arms.
If the teacher in Southport had had a gun those little girls might still be alive, the killer would be dead, and nobody would have rioted.
Britain is not the country it was. We gave up our guns when we were a high trust society where women could walk safely on the street and children could play outside without fear of foreign predators. Those days have gone.
We can’t rely on the police to protect us any more. They’re too busy policing people’s opinions. We have a right to be armed for our own protection. There’s nothing extreme about the idea. It’s common sense.
