@WGTransport Not enough has been done to educate drivers and pedestrians of this rule change. Adding crossings here when they should be giving way muddies the water further.
Understandable without the crossings no enforcement can be done but pedestrians should be able to give evidence
@Fluffy_LeMonde@bridgegaplarge Shame of no public consultation especially if it’s a public accessible site. Also points to a failure of local journalism sadly. Luckily near me we have a good independent one that trawls through every application. Many now do retrospective applications though
@maxtempers Teachers are unable to raise it with parents either due to hostility and the schools management won't help.
Lots of parents really do think it's the schools job to toilet train their kids and no one saying it's not
@timoldland https://t.co/BqtEVIx9xY
They setup and did loads of work there without planning permission in a green belt / conservation area… Their lack of care doesn’t surprise me
@twopoint6khz@PositivFuturist https://t.co/ucN6k83Qsy
Loaned to them to promote road safety. Essex police did something similar with the Ford RS200 in the 80s
@timoldland Fuel duty is basically ppm. More use = more tax
In the past I thought ved should be scrapped and duty raised to make evs more financial sense.
No idea how they can implement it, I’m sure some consultants will be getting millions to find out. Maybe through anpr cameras
@ChamiraAthauda@D162Michele This is a working class dish, linking it to colonisers is flawed and lazy.
Traditionally the pies are made of meat offcuts with mustard, tomato puree, garlic, onion and beef stock.
The sauce is made of butter, fish stock, garlic.
If that's tasteless, that's on you
@CleeTorres31 @Steenbeck3 @brownliberite Most people are dc, you’re extremely lucky with db
The vast majority on dc need to be paying much more to achieve a sustenance wage, this has to be paid by the person and now it’ll be taxed.
To get an average wage in retirement with state pension you need a £600k portfolio
@NetworkRailAng Great to see
Hopefully more secure bike parking gets rolled out to the other stations. Bike thefts are a serious problem, especially at the more rural stations where people have to walk miles in the dark to get home
@HaveringDaily Ah yes cut everything and hike taxes.
I had the displeasure of meeting him while he was canvasing. Utter gobshite. By election needed
Kept slagging off council workers as lazy, my family have been working there for 40+ years.
@dannydragztemp @AddictedtoGrime@CrimeLdn 90s and before. They had very popular night clubs and lots of work in the area with the ford plant in Dagenham and other big companies.
@HaveringDaily I was hoping this would kickstart the talk about cycling infra in the borough. It's very lacklustre
Roneo Corner to Squirrels Heath Road is a 20min cycle
@hjwakerley Lanolin based and stuff like Dynax UC are generally good, but the stuff that dries hard like POR15 is horrible. I would walk away when buying a car if it's had that.
Lanoguard and Bilt Hamber products are the go too when I've been looking in the past
