@JR_Lynmead @JesseCadeWrites My agent told me prologues are used when the author is to lazy to tell the comolete story in the main body of the book. She insisted they're to be used only when no other option will tell the same story. I went on to use them with a high degree of frequency.

@CharlieWard709 There are war movies that are well crafted, others are entertaining, and there are a few that have a profound effect. For me, saving Private Ryan was well crafted. Full Metal Jacket was entertaining, and Warfare (in a Dolby theatre) had a profound effect on me.

@JR_Lynmead Correct. Early on, I wanted to change their minds. It was personal. Then, I began to listen. Their comments and c9mplaints were valid. I simply needed to swallow a little pride. In time, my writing (and my stories) improved as a result.
