Republicans have had full control of the federal government for the past 18 months.
Here is how they govern:
-Enacted broad tariffs that took an economy called the envy of the world and slowed it to a crawl.
-2024 had 2.9% inflation. Today it is 4.2%.
-The lowest earners had been seeing the largest wage gains. In 2025, they reversed that: not only did they have the lowest gains, but they were also losing ground to inflation.
-Now the average wage is also losing ground, with a 0.8% decrease due to the high inflation.
-2023 and 2024 combined averaged over 165,000 jobs created each month. 2025 and 2026 combined are only 40,000 per month.
-GDP growth dropped from 2.8% in 2024 to 2.1% last year, and down to 1.6% so far this year.
-An ill-planned, pointless war was started in Iran. Then, the US gave up because the war was so bad for the economy and gained nothing for the loss of life and equipment.
-Our allies are moving away from us. Our trading partners are looking elsewhere.
-The president has used the White House to enrich himself and his family with billions through grifts.
-Republicans don't even talk about their one major piece of legislation anymore, the "One Big Beautiful Bill, because it kicked a million kids off of food assistance, made millions lose their healthcare, and accelerated the deficit and debt, all so that corporations and billionaires could get more tax breaks and loopholes.
-The top 1% now hold as much wealth as the bottom 90%.
-They pretend they gave you a tax cut, too, but they actually taxed you more. The average income tax refund increased by ~$300, but the average household paid over $1,500 in tariffs. Then there are the higher prices from inflation, making it even worse.
America is worse off today than it was in January 2025, and Republicans are to blame.
WWII Veteran and Purple Heart recipient Robert Hilliard:
"Next week I'll be 101 years old. In February 1944 when I was 18 years old I was inducted into the army and what they taught me to do there was to kill people who set up detention camps. Can you imagine how I felt earlier this year when they announced that one of the future detention camps would be at that same camp landing in Florida? We have a fascist, a fascist government, that allows innocent people to be put in detention camps and incarcerated."

🚨BREAKING: In the Chicago suburbs, an ICE agent assaults a teenager for filming his vehicle, and pointing out that it illegally has no license plate.
In the video, a U.S. citizen is peacefully filming an ICE vehicle, that is sitting in a parking lot. He walks to the back of the SUV to document that it has no license plate.
That’s when the ICE agent jumps out, screaming, “Get away from my vehicle!” while aggressively charging toward the teenager.
The teenager immediately backs away, but the ICE agent keeps walking at him, tries to trip the teenager , and continues yelling… even though neither of them are anywhere near the vehicle anymore.
Filming government officials performing their duties, in public, is protected by the First Amendment. That protection doesn’t disappear just because the official doesn’t like being recorded.
An officer also can’t lawfully use physical force simply because someone is filming them. Using force, to stop someone from recording, is a violation of that person’s constitutional rights.
And let’s not ignore the reason the ICE agent got out of his car in the first place...
Illinois law requires vehicles, driven on public roads, to display valid registration plates. This ICE vehicle is not following that law.
So, if your first instinct, when someone records your conduct, is to assault them… you’re proving exactly why the public is recording in the first place.
We cannot consider #AI to be morally neutral. In reality, every technical tool embodies choices and priorities through what it measures, ignores, and optimizes, and how it classifies people and situations. Ethical discernment cannot be limited to asking whether we are using a system for good or bad purposes. It must also examine how that system is designed and what vision of the human person and society is embedded in the data and models that guide it. #MagnificaHumanitas
#BREAKING: @jdvance: “If you go back to WWII, if you go back to WWI, if you go back to every major conflict in human history, they all ended with some kind of negotiation.”
Lawrence: “NO, they didn’t. WWII ended with ZERO negotiations. WWII ended the way Donald Trump claimed his war in #Iran was going to end—unconditional surrender. Japan and Germany each signed unconditional surrender documents. Adolf Hitler killed himself rather than submit Germany to the unconditional surrender that he knew was coming. Every vice president, everyone, prior to JD Vance has KNOWN that President FDR demanded the unconditional surrender of Germany and Japan during WWII and when FDR died…his vice president, then elevated to the presidency, Harry Truman, accepted those unconditional surrenders without a word of negotiation with anyone about those surrenders. That kind of statement by JD Vance demonstrating a complete IGNORANCE of how WWII ended is the kind of thing that used to get you drummed out of American politics before Donald Trump’s DUMBING DOWN of the Republican Party and it tells you something about the quality of thinking that the vice president of the United States brings to his job.” 😳
Q: What's stopping Iran from down the road rebuilding and restarting their nuclear program?
JD VANCE: First of all, they would have to get a lot of money in order to rebuild their nuclear program
(The MOU gives Iran a lot of money!)
WHAT IRAN GOT:
•$300 billion
•Removed sanctions
•Control of Strait of Hormuz
•Maintains missile program
•No destruction of nuclear program
WHAT THE U.S. GOT
•Higher gas prices
•Billions spent
•No major objectives achieved
•Americans dead
We got fleeced.
We’re about to spend $300,000,000,000 rebuilding Iran after spending $80,000,000,000 destroying it, while telling Americans on Medicaid to take a hike.
America First.
Trump’s press conference was INSANE:
He confirmed that:
• Iran gets $300B + $100B unfrozen
• Iran has the RIGHT to ballistic missiles
• The U.S. was running out of oil
• A worldwide depression was coming
I was predicting all of this from the first week including that REPARATIONS were coming and got a lot of hate for it.
The sellout MAGA frauds are now going to change their entire life-philosophy and deeply held “principles” over night.
Trump is on his knees. This was ALWASY the ONLY way it was going to end. Even if he thinks he can start the war again. Iran will always win.
It’s check mate. Always has been.
Embarrassing.
Peter Doocy: “A wise man once said, in January 2020: ‘Iran has never won a war, but has never lost a negotiation.’”
President Trump: “Who said that?”
Reporter: “Donald Trump.”
Elon Musk donated $277 million to elect Trump.
Trump let him gut the IRS.
Elon’s SpaceX took a $1.9 billion tax break that they believed wouldn’t be allowed if the IRS audited them.
Your reminder that billionaire and corporate PAC donations are bribes.

March 9: "We're now totally independent of the Middle East. We don't need their oil."
April 1: "It doesn't really affect us. We have so much oil. We have tremendous oil and gas, much more than we need."
June 17: If I didn't agree to the MOU, we "would run out of reserves at about 4 weeks...we would really run out, and there'll be a time when you wouldn't be able to get it."
Trump is giving $300 billion to Iran. This could pay for:
— Student debt elimination for 7.6M Americans
— An end to homelessness in America
— Healthcare subsidies for 22M Americans for nearly a decade
— Medicaid coverage for 3.2M Americans for a decade
— Food assistance for 41M Americans for 3 years
— Federal cancer research for 40+ years
— Free school lunch for every kid in America for over 4 years
— Replacing every lead pipe in America
— Free pre-K for every child in America for over 7 years
BLUMENTHAL: Who won the 2020 election?
JUDGE TRAYNOR: This issue has become a question of political controversy. Justice Jackson--
BLUMENTHAL: It's 'political controversy' only because the president refuses to accept the results. I'm asking you as a matter of fact. Who won?
TRAYNOR: As Justice Jackson stated, it is not appropriate to engage in discussion regarding that
BLUMENTHAL: So you're going to use the same script that other nominees have used before this panel to avoid the question?
TRAYNOR: I think the precedent established by Justice Jackson ...
BLUMENTHAL: As a matter of fact, which presidential candidate got more votes in 2020?
TRAYNOR: As I stated before, this is an issue that Justice Jackson--
BLUMENTHAL: You're adopting a script that has been dictated to you by the White House
