I made stereotypical assumptions based on one of the stickers (along the lines of “Give me space, I’m thick”). Then this happened and there was no doubt.
@WWE@MasonRook_wwe I legitimately thought this guy was satire when I first saw his debut on social media. Then, I realized it was serious and thought ‘okay, let’s see.” Now, seeing this intro package, I’m leaning back toward satire while knowing it’s not.
@ktrhnews Wow. I thought this was a parody account then realized it’s not. I remember listening to KTRH daily until I moved away to college. I heard what it had become in the years since but this post still astonished me. Why did this even show up in my feed? Oh yeah, this is X.
@MeghanMcCain Your overall point about the exorbident cost and misguided focus of the campaign is absolutely valid but your comparison isn’t apples to apples. Film and TV productions do not center on buying airtime and that’s where most of the cost of a massive TV/digital campaign rests.
@BeReal2025 I think his team is doing as good of a job as possible given the circumstances. This seemed to be a slip of the tongue, not a seed for an appeal. I’m sure the attorney who said it realized his slip immediately and wished he could have it back.
I’m catching up on today’s #brianwalshetrial testimony and my jaw hit the floor when his defense attorney said “I probably butchered that” when referring to a medical term that he could not pronounce. His client is on trial for murdering and dismembering his wife. #freudianslip
