@ConradKuntz@HamsterBal38417 @animefan295 @Linsuspls@TotalTwisty@_HopefulSkeptic True, but they still experiance little attraction, wither it's the same kind of little attraction as ace-aces or not. That's why there is an asexual spectrum, to fit all the differences and avoid exclusions.
@HamsterBal38417 @animefan295 @Linsuspls@TotalTwisty@_HopefulSkeptic As an aroace myself, I can confirm that demis are part of the asexual spectrum. We don't disown demis as soon as they have an attraction towards someone. Demi's and other aspec orientations is why asexuality means "little to no sexual attraction towards anyone"
@CorgiBeautiful @IronasticGirl3 @terfenjoyer@RessurecBarbar Ok, we'll use @CorgiBeautiful to just mean always wrong. We don't really care that much about @CorgiBeautiful, no offense, therefore it's not alienation, since you are a non issue to us.
@AGiftFromACrypt@ambabe90210@theyasminbenoit 1 that I had experienced myself and saw a tik tok video about similar, sexual harrasment via "friends" "helping" aces to get laid. "Friends" learned I was ace and thought I just needed "help", by heavily pressuring me into having sex with a random person. Luckily I escaped it.
@Pantera_pe@AngelCerise@theyasminbenoit Bisexuals aren't exclusively about being attracted to the same sex. Often Bisexuals (like asexuals) get gatekept, invladiated and excluded out of LGBT+ spaces, especially by those the bigots who just say "LGB" (who are an extreme minority of the Lesbian, Gay and Bi communities).
@AmeliaFleur @theyasminbenoit I'm a sex positive ace but even that multi hour discussion was a bit too much for me.
Sex is very often a subject of discussion and even jokes. We hear sexualised songs on the office radios etc, so it's defo often a topic in offices, whether any of us like it or not.
@AmeliaFleur @theyasminbenoit Had a colleague go on a multi hour discussion about how he can't ask women out without being deemed sexist, how long since he "had any", how a nice arse is better than nice tits etc. Interupted every so often to ogle women who walked by our window. It's always randomly brought up
@DrMcFillin Can we please stop saying asexuality is low sex drive. Asexuality is just about lack of attraction. This sort of conflation is creating misinformation used to discriminate asexuals.
Asexuals can have low sex drive, have hypersexuality, or have anything in between.
@bobopsi@dharmani_tweets@L__G__B Clearly my reading comprehension AND research skills are far better than yours, cause I wouldn't be saying shite like "Asexuality as an identity is a new phenomenon". He'll even research into identity of asexuals is 1940s (Kinsay Scale). Gonna ignore you now.
@bobopsi@dharmani_tweets@L__G__B Where the 🦆 are you getting Tumblr from? And do you honestly think Tumblr was invented back in 1907?
https://t.co/t11p8EsCgn (end of page 11)
He'll it's even been researched in the 1800s as well, so no idea why you think net's a Tumblr thing.
@bobopsi@dharmani_tweets@L__G__B See my "Point caller" comment.
And if you're picking a very very specific part I thinkbyou are for, are you honestly going to use Wikipedia as your source?
Maybe try THE EXPERTS

@bobopsi@dharmani_tweets@L__G__B You know asexuality is known about since the 1800s, and the actual definition since 1900s.
Also, no, TQ+ isn't trying to redefine lesbian, gay and bisexuality. That's a TERF myth.
@bobopsi@dharmani_tweets@L__G__B Also would you think it's OK if someone were to say "Well different people that call themselves gay have different opinions of what gay means" if they were to argue it means a pedo? That should be a hell no, but I fear you will actually think that is OK.
@bobopsi@dharmani_tweets@L__G__B Asexuality is not a lack of sex drive 🤦♂️
Sexual Oriention is about who you are attracted to. Asexuals are attracted to no one so it is a sexual attraction
I never said lack of religious belief is a religion. I said not believing in a god is still a religious belief!
@Urcrazytoo1000@CantonWiner Congrats, you just failed reading 101.
The statement that was being discussed breaks down to 1) and I quote "Queerness isn’t defined by oppression."
2) Even if 1) applies, asexual oppression exists.
Therefore the thread talked about how the statement is wrong not 1 but 2 ways.
@dharmani_tweets@L__G__B I'd ignore the account and the answers you've been given about the I and A. Those that just say "LGB" are normally transphobic (and often homophobic) hate groups who are trying to dismantle the LGBT+ movement and recriminalize all LGBT+ people everywhere.
@VyperMk1@MrPotatoNavy@dharmani_tweets@L__G__B No, the post above is 100% wrong.
Incels are involentary celibate. People who have sexual attraction but can't get a partner to have sex with.
Asexuals are people who do not experience sexual attraction. Some still do have sex for various reasons.
Asexuals aren't incels.
