Hear the screams in the background but, above all, LISTEN to Dr Mads Gilbert, Norwegian surgeon, sending a heart-wrenching message, from Al Shifa Hospital, to Biden, Blinken and Europe's non-existent leaders.
Cutting off all communication to a population of 2.2 million is unacceptable. Journalists, medical professionals, humanitarian efforts, and innocents are all endangered.
I do not know how such an act can be defended. The United States has historically denounced this practice.
This is what is condoned by our colleagues in Congress, first it was Lindsey Graham and now Max Miller, yet you won’t hear a single condemnation. Not from Congress, media or any leader of consequence.
For once, can people say they condemn calls to completely wipe out Palestinians?
It shouldn’t be hard to condemn genocidal rhetoric.
“We have never seen anything like this before.”
On Monday came Earth’s hottest day in at least 125,000 years. Tuesday was hotter.
A remarkable spate of historic heat is hitting the planet, raising alarm over looming extreme weather dangers — and an increasing likelihood this year will be Earth’s warmest on record. https://t.co/WUo39sNveR
Pat Robertson was one of the most virulent racists in America.
Robertson was a right wing extremist who spewed hateful rhetoric and pushed a white supremacist Christian nationalist and mainstreamed bizarre fringes of Christian fundamentalism that birthed today’s MAGA ‘Christians’ and fanatical conspiracy theorists.
He blamed gay people for hurricanes and 9/11. He blamed Haitians for the devastating earthquake in Haiti that killed over 150,000 people, claiming that Haitians “swore a pact with the devil.”
He founded the Christian Coalition, an organization that was sued for making Black employees enter through the back door, use separate bathrooms, and cafeterias, and excluding them from company functions.
He used the 700 Club as a platform for religious bigotry and racist hate speech, raised funds for Contra death squads in Nicaragua, and publicly called for the assassination of world leaders including Libya’s Muammar Gaddafi and Venezuela’s Hugo Chávez.
He was a vile man, one that hardly embodied the tenets of Christianity. In death, may he reap everything he sowed in life.
For GH’s 35th Anniversary segment on BJ’s heart transplant, they included commentary by actors Jackie, Kristina and Brad to discuss their characters Bobbie, Felicia, and Tony. This is truly the crown jewel story of the show’s history ❤️ 🚨 🚑 #GH 🚨 🚑 #GH60

Tucker Carlson, you were the biggest douchebag on television - I feel dumber for even knowing your name, let alone your bloated, bow tied face.
Your five minutes are finally UP! Though they lasted about ten minutes longer than they should have. Buh-bye

“The freedom we want, for ourselves and for others, is not an absolute metaphysical, abstract freedom... but it is real freedom, possible freedom, which is the conscious community of interests, voluntary solidarity.”
― Errico Malatesta, Italian anarchist born on December 14, 1853
Here’s what I want to know: Why did Al Franken have to resign for a joke photo he took years before he was a senator, but the Republican members of Congress who participated in or encouraged an armed insurrection to overthrow our democracy are allowed to stay in government?
There are people sleeping on the streets while billionaires are looking for new ways to spend their money because they won’t be able to spend it all in their lifetime if they tried. That’s immoral.
