@TheOnlyChoy I think power creep is inevitable no matter what the subject is. The only thing you can do there is match up the older stuff to the new game that doesn't even closely resemble the old one anymore

shouldn't be a hot take but the question shouldn't be "Why does Jason have so many QoL features" it should be "why do so many older killers have no QoL at all" Aside from an addon or two and the hinder on removing the spear being unnecessary, I think Jason is actually well made.

idk how to explain it but does Jason's projectile fire off in a slightly different way? im basing it off of huntress muscle memory but it feels like...very slightly delayed or offset and i cannot get over such a minor thing
