@larainenewman Protagonists getting the upper hand in a fight against an evil antagonist, being in the position to kill the one who wouldn't hesitate to kill THEM, and then letting them get away, pretty much guaranteeing future violence from said antagonist.

@JuliaSweeneyMeh I found it compelling but painful to watch (I had a similar reaction to the far superior classic movie A Woman Under The Influence). One thing that really stuck in my craw; his stand-up was unbelievably awful. The fact that it was sometimes well received lacked credibility.
