Difference is @piersmorgan, if you fuck up at work due to tiredness, no drama, some people have a duty of care and mistakes caused by tiredness can have dire consequences. I guess you know this but are grifting for the likes.
One thing I’ve noticed in Northants politics…. In the previous administration many Cllr’s had near zero online presence but had a lot to say in meetings, now many of them are very vocal online but silent in council meetings🤔
Well done Labour, the most powerful message you had at the last election was an end to the previous Tory chaos, the succession of leadership changes was rightly called out by the electorate. You’ve lost that message and with it, any hint of credibility you had left.

Farage will never be PM. Reform have reached their high watermark, will now descend into infighting and will implode prior to the next GE. Soon to be but a footnote of history…

Tony Blair’s essay appears to have ruffled some feathers.
Broadly speaking he’s absolutely spot on. The fact someone like me agrees with him tells me that the current Labour Party will largely ignore him, to the detriment of The Labour Party and ultimately the country.
@ZacGoldsmith@John_J_C_Moss I left the party over the ECHR stance, but even I can see she’s beginning to cut through and growing into the role. They should stick by her for the long term in my view and I think ride this out and she’ll make inroads. Perhaps not next election but the following one for sure
@ArchRose90 Come on now Chris…
Am sure he posted what he thought, but so far as I can see,
a) He thought some very offensive things
b) He lacks the conviction to defend what he posted
Neither option makes him an ideal candidate to represent people in HoP and I suspect you appreciate that
@kevinhollinrake@PetroNicolaides … accept those and move forward in a collaborative pragmatic way, to benefit those in Worcestershire, the party throws its toys out and suspends hard working councillors. You’re a joke and will rightly be out of power nationally for a generation.
@kevinhollinrake@PetroNicolaides I’ve left the party, in part because the party is now more interested in ideological populist nonsense rather than being a sensible pragmatic party acting to the benefit of the electorate. There are specific and valid reasons why this coalition was required. But rather than….
@emilyhewertson@JAHeale Another justification of why I’ve left the party and now sit as an independent. Too many are more interested in ideological and populist nonsense than serious grown up politics and doing right by the electorate 🙄
@emilyhewertson I think the borders of Worcestershire are pretty open already, and not so sure a council can apply a wealth tax. National politics ≠ local politics.
Am certain the Tories are doing what they believe is best for the residents as opposed to what is more ideologically comfortable
