@latterdaylaura So many people proving you right here. Evangelical Christians don’t know what love is. They have to have you affirm their beliefs before they’ll tell you you’re not going to hell. Hard to imagine a Heavenly Father looking for legalistic reasons to condemn you.

But telling everyone we have a loving God, but this group that does their best to follow Him, but doesn’t believe that he and Jesus are meshed together in body somehow means that loving God is sending us to hell. That’s not love.

@SSteele_TX @josephpmbrtn If you read anything accurate about our beliefs, you’d know that we don’t believe we’re saved by works, either. Jesus is the Son of God, not some aspect of the same being, fully Devine, and one in purpose. The underwear is a symbol and reminder of covenants made with God.

The Church gave a statement after receiving a hit piece. The piece could be true or not. There was probably little time to decide that. Vice writes hit pieces all the time.
