New federal data suggest the decline in international student arrivals may be continuing resulting in billions of dollars in reduced revenues for IHEs. Student arrivals to the U.S. were down 5% in March, 7.8% in April, and 1% in May compared with the same months last year. These declines follow a nearly 22% drop in international student arrivals during summer 2024 versus summer 2023.
