@den368872@gator_gum@mario4thenorth I can guarantee that Gator and the rest of her cancerous ilk are more than ok with a 20% increase in population.
They don’t care about the increase of crime, unemployment or strain on the system.
Those are all left-wing voters.
Now get to work. You have gimmiegrants to pay for!
@Barbielynn01 Babs, dahling… covid has been over for the unvaccinated for four years now. Why pray-tell do you want to get vaccinated for it in 2026? Is your immune system compromised or something?
@gator_gum No, they’re not communists… They just want to ban firearms, censor speech they don’t like, control the media, control food production, put everyone on UBI and monitor everything we do. 👍🏻
@gator_gum Thought I tore my right bicep lifting weights. Had to call on a friend who’s a doctor to get an ultrasound. He got me in the next day. Guy I worked with at the time had been waiting 4 months for an ultrasound on his knee. I was lucky I knew someone.
Canada’s healthcare is a joke.
@gator_gum Good one, G. That’s about as believable as the Democrat Party claiming that they miraculously switched sides with the Republican Party when it came to slavery and racism.
Coles notes version:
Leftists complaining that leftist cities more than ever suffer from rampant homelessness, crime and drug use but never stop to think about how their political policies have created the problem in the first place.
My wife and I walked through the Downtown Eastside, where she spent years working at the welfare office helping people.
She said, “It’s gotten so much worse. Garbage everywhere, people sleeping on the streets, and drug use on every block.”
I couldn't disagree. The drugs are worse, homelessness is worse, and people have fewer places to go.
Then she asked, “What the hell did ABC do to help people down here?”
I responded, “They added more police.”
However we all know you can't police your way out of poverty, homelessness, and addiction. You have to actually address the conditions causing them.
I'm hopeful that this next mayor and council will make a real difference. At least, I want to be hopeful.
Because the people living in the Downtown Eastside deserve more than promises, policing, and political talking points.
They deserve real solutions, real investment, and a city that hasn't given up on them!
