PLEASE! - Can you change how you label reserved seats to help passengers find seats.
1. Label where ‘reserved from’
2. Once train has left the station, change to ‘available’.
@AvantiWestCoast@northernassist@TPExpressTrains
1/2 PLEASE - can you all make announcements for, and have crew maintain these standards of respect and decency to make rail travel actually enjoyable…
@TPExpressTrains@northernassist@AvantiWestCoast
1/2 Suggestions to make train travel more enjoyable. Regular announcements to say:
1. Only thing on seats should be your bum. No feet, bags or dogs.
2. Use headphones for playing all media.
@Cumbriapolice Maybe an opportunity to offer ‘words of advice’ after following a cyclist wearing black and no lights going through a red light on a grim night down Windermere Road, Kendal? Or just ignore such things and wait for the call to pick up the pieces? #cycling

1/2 On the 18.30 EUS to OXE.
Conductor announced before leaving Euston that ‘this is a peak service train, anyone with off peak tickets should either get off, or be prepared to pay to upgrade to a peak ticket’
2/2
This is wholly incorrect. Peak only for tickets to PRE. Off peak beyond. A number of confused (including elderly) people frantically got off before we left. How many unnecessarily? Really poor service.
@TPExpressTrains just got the 18.04 MIA-Oxenholme. Staff member Justin a thoroughly wonderful genuine jolly chap. Put him charge of customer service training. :-)
@ProgressiveRug@Murray_Kinsella The best thing @owen_faz could do is appeal the decision himself!
Would set a great example of upholding the rugby values of integrity and honesty.
@FloraSCooper 1/3 Ofsted is an example of everything wrong with the education system; every few years you have one or two days to display your competence under stressful examination conditions after which you are given a grade or label which sticks with you for life.
@FloraSCooper 3/3 This would be on a continuous basis by sharing knowledge, experience, expertise and best practice from across other schools. If the schools don’t improve, then the advisors should be given the requires improvement’ or ‘inadequate’ rating!
@FloraSCooper 2/3 If they really cared about the development of schools and students, all schools would have OFSTED advisors - not inspectors. People who regularly visit the school to offer them suggestions and advice on how to improve.
