Sweden were worrying fragile in their friendly vs Greece today, looked 2nd best for the majority of the game. Fair to say they have had 2 poor preparation matches before the WC...
Andreas Tetteh (RW, 6'2", 25y/o) caught my eye whilst watching Sweden vs Greece today. Physical beast. Dominates duels, can pin+spin. Eye for goal from mid-range. Can add a layer of consistency otb, but is a real handful if his strengths are played to.
Christos Zafeiris (5'8" 23y/o) is an interesting CM/#6 who should be on top clubs radars. Very comfortable with the ball at his feet. Similar profile to Y.Ayari / Mac Allister. Looked technically a level above in the first half vs Sweden today. Press resistance + breaks lines 🇬🇷
Ethan Ampadu has taken such huge strides forward in his game over the past few years. His performance vs Ghana displayed his solidity without the ball, and his ability to progress through the lines on it. Such a well rounded midfielder, capable of playing at the highest level.
Marvin Senaya (RB 25y/o) impressed for Ghana vs Wales. Front footed defender, tight and aggressive on his man. Refreshing desire to win the ball. Very little got past him at all. 🇬🇭⚡️
Jerome Opoku (6'5" L footed) provided a very strong performance for Ghana vs Wales today. Huge size + limb length gives him a big advantage in duels. Puts his body in the way of anything. Had success in longer range passes on the day too. One to watch in the WC. 🇬🇭🧱
Would like to see Cameron Congreve get a chance at Swansea 26/27. Made a real impact on off the bench for Wales on his debut. Fast feet 1v1 to create separation, gets at his man and delivers on either foot. Impressive cameo appearance. 🦢🏴

A lot to like about Andrés Gómez out of possession. Intense, and has speed to recover. Executes triggers. However, decision making and execution in the final third needs to improve. Far from the finished article, but has explosive speed and great work-rate.
Based on what I have seen in 45mins for Costa Rica vs Colombia, I am shocked Manfred Ugalde has only scored 5 league goals this season. Made good use of the limited service provided. Clean ball striking from distance. Low centre of gravity, explosive. Small, but a battler.
Johan Mojica is such a well rounded full back. Neat and tidy with his feet - press resistance. Technical and physical reliability. Defensively consistent + duel strength. Can see him playing in the T5 leagues for many more years. Looking forward to seeing him at the WC.
Adam Markhiev (6ft tall. 24 y/o) is a strong option for a low possession, transition based side. Screens the back 4, tough in the tackle - Palhinha vibes. Can be caught on the ball, needs to tighten up. Championship would be a good step for him.
🇫🇮 Leo Walta (02) – CM | Finland vs Germany
🎯 1 key pass | 21/25 passes (84%)
👟 40 touches | 12 carries | 3 dribbles
📸 4 shots | 3 blocked - eye for goal
Small, can be nudged off the ball, but a a bright spark for Finland. #GERFIN#Scouting
Adam Markhiev (2002) – CDM 🇫🇮 | Finland vs Germany
⚠️Screened the backline well
🛡️Physicality in duels against world class players
❌Lacking comfort on the ball
Some promising DEF attributes, but clear development needed on the ball. Well suited to a low possession side.
🇳🇱 Luciano Valente (2003 | Groningen) impressed off the bench for Netherlands U21s vs Finland:
⚽️ 1 goal
🅰️ 1 assist
🔑 3 key passes
🎯 89% pass accuracy (17/19)
Ex-Italy youth now shining for the Netherlands. Big impact in just 45 minutes.
