One thing I believe needs to be looked at is the CIF dead period schedule. Kids who aren't on shoe circuit teams rely on events like Cali Live and Vegas Live to get in front of college coaches. We couldn't attend because of the dead period, and it directly impacted players like @donwebb_2027 , who had multiple college coaches asking if he'd be there. There are so many talented kids in the same position. Hopefully this can be reconsidered in the future so every student-athlete has a fair opportunity to be recruited.

2027 G/F @donwebb_2027 (6'4") continues to prove he's one of the top guards on the West Coast.
With our team short-handed all summer, Donnie embraced every challenge defensively, guarding every position on the floor. One possession he'd be matched up with a 6'7" forward, the next battling a 6'11" center. He never complained—he competed.
This summer, Donnie averaged 28.5 PPG, 10.6 RPG, and 4.6 APG, including a 41-point performance and multiple 30+ point games. He impacts the game in every way possible—scoring at all three levels, rebounding, creating for teammates, defending, and making winning plays.
He's beginning to receive heavy interest from low-major Division I and Division II programs, but I truly believe his recruitment is just getting started.
College coaches: don't wait too long. Donovan Webb is the type of player you'll regret passing on. His combination of size, versatility, toughness, and production is hard to find. Don has improved every year. Check out his summer highlights!
