@bolsh3vik It was like this in LA, all the areas that the West LA Petty-Bourgeois called “dangerous” or “ghetto” (I hate that word) were always the best parts. Gorgeous artwork on the streets, clear sense of community, I always felt welcome & safe. Petty-Bourgeois elitism & racism >:(
My biggest personal failing is that I will see people online dragging her just because they want an excuse to be angry at her, and my first instinct is not "I need to get offline ASAP". If this is not my last tweet ever, it should be considered a moral failing on my part
The idea that victim-blaming is like, tough love that helps people learn is the exact same bullshit that playground bullies spew to justify their cruelty. It has no basis in fact, just an excuse to be cruel. This woman has 10x the courage & character of anyone blaming her.
So many of the responses to this are like "girl, it was 2024 what did u expect". This is the worst possible thing u can say to an abuse survivor, the correct response is to show sympathy and highlight the courage it takes to come forward about something like this.
“YOU ARE MY PROPERTY”
My name is Bri Stern. I’m from Los Angeles California. I met Andrew Tate in the summer of 2024 and we were in a relationship for almost
a year.
Many people read early Christian writings of hellfire & destruction and believe they are describing hell, but modern history can find they were actually predicting Kier Starmer’s marriage
@ElijahForCA@orikron I'm really, sincerely not trying to like, own you, or beef you or whatever here man. I rly sincerely just wanna know what information lead you to believe that Marxism doesn't take experience as its starting point. It's okay that we disagree, that's allowed, I just wanna know man
@ElijahForCA@orikron Every marxist theoretician has written extensively against a-priori knowledge in various texts,(eg Engels arguing that stuff like maths still ultimately stems from experience in Anti-Duhring). Did you get this idea from a secondary source? Who is lying to u like this??
@ElijahForCA@orikron Genuinely, how can you even think this? Lots of other accusations against Marxism (killed 100 million, disputing LTV, eurocentric) I can at least see how you can twist history/theory to get that conclusion. But seriously where does the idea that it's a priori even come from?
@buddha_bebop @Bolschewik1917 Also some accounts describe Trotsky as being a bit inpersonable in his younger years. So there were definitely disagreements, but by the end of Lenin's life, it was clear that Trotsky had matured into the fantastic leader he showed he could be in 1905
@buddha_bebop @Bolschewik1917 From early 1917-1924, Lenin & Trotsky were basically 100% in step. But there were disagreements before that, it doesn't help that Lenin usually heard about Trotsky's positions through other people, so would sometimes end up attacking a position that some ppl held, but not Trotsky
