@colmanc@EssexPR I understand what you're saying, but it's not ok for relatives to take back handers through their parents position (government position or not - and let's be honest it's just for a degree of separation
(there are laws for this very thing in my job)

@liz_churchill_ Two reasons off the top of my head
1. It's a business, and you don't pay inheritance tax on businesses
2. It's just good business, growing world population - and diminishing land mass. Exports are gradually slowing as the home population needs the grain

@brent_orford @LayahHeilpern indeed he did, but still not as much as the guy that came after him - not that it matters anyway. All the parties are the same, and it's heartening seeing people twig onto this, myself included
