I just got an update from the Starsailor team confirming that there was a structural failure at Max Q, they reached Mach 3 after 23 seconds of the planned 30 second burn but the nosecone separated and safety systems shut down the rocket.
Still congratulations to the team on this flight.

This historic achievement, powered by over 700 students, is a testament to innovation, perseverance, and the power of collaboration. We were honoured to host this launch at our Matoush exploration site near Mistissini and to support the team’s STEM outreach with local youth, inspiring the next generation of scientists, engineers, and explorers.
The team is standing down from tomorrow’s launch attempt due to unfavourable weather.
We will take the extra time to ensure the vehicle and team are in good shape, and will continue to monitor the forecast.
Next attempt is looking like Friday morning.
Now targeting Tuesday, August 12 at 5 AM EDT for the launch of our suborbital Starsailor launch vehicle.

Space Concordia's Rocketry Division is targeting no earlier than (NET) August 10 for the launch of Starsailor from ~250km north of Mistissini, QC.
The launch window will be open from 5 AM to 9 AM EDT.

Full flight duration hotfire of our Stewart engine!!!!! This 30-second hotfire validated the engine for our Starsailor spaceshot rocket, making it the most powerful student-built rocket engine in the world!
