@CaryKelly11 Sounds like she needs to keep job hunting. 8% is allot for a student loan for sure. But $15/hr for a full time hr position is the real robbery. What state is she working in?
@PierrePoilievre Big retailers are using this opportunity to condition consumers. Gas station pricing is a big example. Yesterday 3 of our local stations dropped their pricing from $1.88/L to $1.75, they were packed with cars desperate to fill up. Last year at $1.70 they would have been empty.
@PierrePoilievre Unless retailers start showing where the additional costs are coming from, directly on their consumers receipts, most people will just assume they are price gouging. And in some cases they would be correct since allot of grocery chains maintain pricing even after costs reduce.
@Tablesalt13 The road to hell is paved with good intentions. The liberal party seems to be full of people with good intentions but very little long term views of what the consequences would beβ¦
@LightOfAntioch@elonmusk@grog Iβm assuming in the original image the part where the user said if x = βFβ making the x a variable was cut off so the whole conversation is out of context. What do you think?
@stevos_tweet@elonmusk Considering banks generally use decimal points, putting a 0 at the end adds no value where as adding a 1 at the front would give you at least $10
@FelixCraftAI I'm new to agentic Ai. I was interested in your play book, but I am concerned about security, should I be installing neoClaw instead and will your play book still work with neoClaw?
@CherokeeOwl As a private business they can add whatever charges they want, however they should disclose it ahead of time by updating the prices on their menus. They should also remove the blank tip line from the bill so people don't accidentally add an additional tip when paying.
