What people have spoken over you or what they haven’t spoken over you hasn’t changed what’s in you. It hasn’t lessened your potential. The greatness is still in you.
God sees us as valuable and worthy—we know this because He sent His Son, Jesus, to die for us. Part of our inheritance as believers is to be secure—to know who we are in Christ, to have a feeling of righteousness or rightness with God. The devil likes to remind us of what we are not, but God delights in affirming us and reminding us of who we are and what we can do through Jesus. Even when you're being attacked by adverse circumstances, remember that God is for you and that you are right with Him. #JoyceQuote
God isn’t making us wait to harm us. He is allowing us to develop patience. Patience means you know that you can trust God no matter how long it takes. It’s the key ingredient to waiting well.
There are things that only God can change. It takes all the pressure off to say, “God, I’m turning it over to you. I’m going to quit trying to force it. I’m not going to take matters into my own hands. God, I trust You.”
Jesus said, “Offenses will come.” How you deal with these offenses, how you handle the hurts will determine whether you move forward and see the new things God has in store.

When somebody hurts you, the only way you can overcome it is by showing them mercy, forgiving them, and doing what is right. Remain calm and peaceable even when those around you are not.
