Hell yeah! Look what came in the mail! #leveldesign#architecture#gamedev <3 I wrote a book about architecture for game designers! https://t.co/8vlzwL6BcB
@DCLBlogger I wrote a book about architectural theory for game designers! I felt like the only gamer in my MArch class. Glad to see there's more crossover today! https://t.co/lp3O6yMUTg
Trying out Sketchfab for my website design overhaul https://t.co/Q764IWNxgi - Really excited to share some of my 3d work this way! :) #vr#vrhackathon#3dmodeling#blender#Blender3D
@CassieY4@JoCoCruise@PaulOverbite I picked a weird first one to go on but yeah it was super fun! XD I got to meet some great people and played boardgames and partied for a week. Also JoCo is inexplicably everywhere just talking to people- it's super clear that he loves hosting this.
Ahh so excited to see more of these deep dives!! <3 Architectural design is an excellent way for world building to reach into nuanced societal expectations for their built infrastructure. Love the call-out that opulence can be described through streetlamps and curbcuts!
@CaptainFlowers Raft is great! :) Hades has a ton of replayability. Valorant has some really great passive design tools to help players baked into the level design which is neat to see. :) Lots of great stuff out now!
@MasterTeagueIII Congratulations! They are super lucky to have you! :D I got my MArch in 2014 and ended up getting my license in WA. Feel free to reach out if you need anything! :) You and your classmates will always have a huge network of Alums ready to help!
Getting this talk together was a total blast! :) It ended up being a catalyst for me to write more talks and even a text book in the course of a few years!! Thanks @Official_GDC! This community has been remarkable!
@doomquasar@Polygon Ahh I love this! So excited for more content on Architecture and Gaming! I'm a licensed architect and just wrote a book on the topic-- feel free to dm me if you'd like me to send you a copy!
