@GlennClarkRadio @Terrapins247 I only would agree with this if I knew 100% that there was an active and aggressive coaching search happening in tandem with finishing the season. If there isn't, then waiting until December is time lost and you're effectively punting the transfer portal.

[Fire Mike Locksley @ScriptTerps]

@StevenWisdom13 @SECPenny @BarstoolNate It’s propaganda

[Fire Mike Locksley @ScriptTerps]

@TurtleSportsNet @TerpsADJimSmith Is it? By what measure?

[Fire Mike Locksley @ScriptTerps]

@Jeff_Ermann Quad box of football

[Fire Mike Locksley @ScriptTerps]

@youngnastyaka I'm convinced this is an organized propaganda campaign led by Mike Locksley. The group meets on Tuesdays to discuss their stupid fucking talking points.

The thing about 24 that bothers me most is…

Who is this for?

It’s not because TV was begging for it. ESPN had to be convinced.

It’s not for a boatload of new cash. Losing conf champ games is gonna make this a minimal gain.

It’s not because the 22nd team has any shot at a natty. It doesn’t.

It’s certainly not done with the health, safety, or academic success of the players in mind since they don’t even get a say in this.

It’s entirely to appease the people donating the money that keeps a financially irresponsible business model afloat. It’s discounting success so schools can say “look what your donation bought.”

It’s an industry hellbent on treating investors and bosses as the customer, and customers as an infinite resource that will keep coming back no matter what.

I would rather go back to the BCS than a 24-team playoff.

[USFBULLS69 @usfbulls69]

The people celebrating a 24-team playoff are the same people who crack up when Pat McAfee takes off his shirt on Gameday.

[Fire Mike Locksley @ScriptTerps]

It was already dumb, this would make it incredibly dumb.

[On3 @On3]

The 24-team College Football Playoff likely eliminates conference championships, @PeteNakos reports❌

[Fire Mike Locksley @ScriptTerps]

@Terrapins247 That's the thing, he doesn't have to go up there and use coach speak. He doesn't have to stay patient. Show your frustration instead of repeating the same lines week after week.

[Fire Mike Locksley @ScriptTerps]

@TorreySmithWR Is it just a money thing now? Is the school to poor to compete?

[Fire Mike Locksley @ScriptTerps]

@TorreySmithWR How does this change then Torrey? What does Maryland need to do to win football games? We built this state of the art facility, supposedly are in a hotbed of talent, and yet under Locksley there are 3 winning seasons, none of which included a marquee win. How does this get fixed?

[Fire Mike Locksley @ScriptTerps]

Hey @UnderArmour and @Fanatics...surely, SURELY you jest...

[Fire Mike Locksley @ScriptTerps]

@Mikephowes This man said COVID?

[Fire Mike Locksley @ScriptTerps]

@Terrapins247 In order:

Coaching
Offense
Defense
Personnel

[Fire Mike Locksley @ScriptTerps]

@TorreySmithWR It’s not too early in CP. Locksley is a deterrent to the fandom and a detriment to the football quality. It won’t be an emotional move, it will be the right move; better late than never. Letting him go won’t sink the ship deeper.
