We are pleased to announce the arrival of three new players to Gary Johnson's side ahead of the new league season, which begins away at Hanworth Villa this Saturday, 8 August.
Joining the Peacocks are Harry Watts, Sam Lord and Jack Anthony.
Watts, an exciting central midfielder, arrives in TA1 after graduating from the Cardiff City Academy. The highly regarded midfielder was part of the Bluebirds side that progressed in the EFL Trophy after beating Arsenal Under-21s 3-1. This move is subject to international clearance.
Lord featured towards the end of our pre-season campaign following his departure from Plymouth Argyle. A highly versatile player, he can be deployed in both midfield and defence, having gained experience in the Youth Alliance and Merit Leagues with Argyle's Under-18s, as well as Southern League experience with Tiverton Town.
Anthony, a local lad from Taunton who has been part of Johnson's side throughout pre-season, joins on a work experience loan from Exeter City. Standing at 6'2", the physical centre-back is capable of playing anywhere across the back four and is comfortable in possession. Anthony was first called up to Exeter City's Under-18s squad at just 16 years of age.

Huge congratulations to the @DHSBoys Year 11 football team who beat Torquay Boys Grammar in what was, as expected, a tight & competitive Devon Cup final. In doing so the team have done what they set out to achieve 3 years ago which was to win it 3 in a row - incredible! ๐๐๐
