Gah! We're $10 shy of what we raised for the 1st Ars Poetica Prize in 2018. That's just four poems!
So... we're gonna prop the window open a little while longer. Can we entice a few more poems to fly in? Help us break our record ~ submit here:

As promised, competition in the poetry genre is particularly fierce for this issue. While we will still consider new poetry submissions until the window closes, note the bloodied sundry littering the slush room floor. https://t.co/zcwgxYPYR9
Oh and by some coincidence there is just the ONE WEEK LEFT to enter the 2022 Riddled with Arrows Ars Poetica Prize for best poetry about poetry!
$3 USD/poem. $ prizes, bragging rights & publication for all winning poems https://t.co/65JWVnmEbx
@RiddledwArrows is an #OwnVoices owned (mostly) self-funded literary journal that centers writers & the process & product of writing as art. Enter, share, review, volunteer, or donate to support us! We get by with a little help from our friends. https://t.co/jFfoxSQegD
In case it got lost in the fine print, we're giving away one bonus signed copy of @GivhanJenn's novel JUBILEE to a poet chosen at random from the Ars Poetica Prize entries AND to 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners. See contest page for full details: https://t.co/BmYlIPpggm
Got a 1-day rejection for one of my new flash fiction stories. It was personalized and complimentary, which is super cool, but sadly they prefer their SF/horror apocalyptic escapism to be not "pandemic-inclusive".
LOL ok.
@JohnKaprielian There shoud be a link at the bottom of the contest page Also on the right-hand side menu of the webpage. Also I'll be mentioning it again once or twice or a hundred times this summer. ;
I'm ridiculously proud of the inkwell fundraising graphic BTW. Not a stitch of training, folks! Wish my mom was here to stick it on the fridge. ;)

ARS POETICA 2022 ~ ABOUT THE JUDGE: @GivhanJenn is a Mexican-American and indigenous poeta & author from the Southwestern desert. Her new books BELLY TO THE BRUTAL (Wesleyan Univ. Press) and RIVER WOMAN, RIVER DEMON (Blackstone Pub.) drop this Fall 2022. https://t.co/QAWSHDa9kc
After this final spring offering @RiddledwArrows will go on temporary hiatus until late June, when we will be reading for a summer open/un-themed issue (fee-free) AND the return of the Ars Poetica Prize (micro-fees), with prizes and a VIP Guest Judge TBA.
Huzzah, all responses for @RiddledwArrows 5.3 have gone out. Have learned in future that I should NOT do three issues back-to-back, but that said I'm quite pleased with the work we are doing / have done in this our comeback year.
There is something seriously wrong with this culture if I can type "flash" into the GIF search and the first dozen images that pop up are all just some dude in a cape. 😉

If you liked my story "Witch's Hour" in F&SF, this story is a lot like that, only it's gender-transgressive irreverant weird western sci-fi feminist horror NEATLY TRIMMED to 5k words. Who wants to throw money at me??
