@JRAzeltine@atrupar He effed up Zelenskyy's name and then tried to stupidly save face by refusing to the let the media ask their question and demanded a question for Putin which Trump could ask him.
"When will you end the war?"
"That's a great question!"
Love having these dementia presidents...
@DebbieM_1961@Hoshi_Tokimitsu@notrobbyboose@BobHealey18@Microinteracti1 The rules weren't followed in handing down the red card, but that's apparently fine and shouldn't be corrected. That is bias.
Article 27 somehow shouldn't be used to correct the rule-breaking even though it is part of the same rules that set an automatic suspension. That is bias
@DebbieM_1961@notrobbyboose@Hoshi_Tokimitsu@BobHealey18@Microinteracti1 And same to you if you think FIFA's independent and autonomous courts rescinding a red card because it was given through VAR rule-breaking. All because Trump picked up the phone and called Infantino asking if it could be reviewed. Starmer can demand a change of venue though.
@DebbieM_1961@notrobbyboose@Hoshi_Tokimitsu@BobHealey18@Microinteracti1 Yes, you did. "Only ONE (in reference to the different national teams) had THEIR (referring specifically to the US national team) president ring up his pals."
What subject is "one" and "their" referring to? There is no other context except the national team.
@DebbieM_1961@Hoshi_Tokimitsu@notrobbyboose@BobHealey18@Microinteracti1 And others are stuck in loving bureaucracy over justice and fairness. They can't fathom overturning a bad decision on principle alone because it was instituted under the rules of the bureacracy and you can't question the bureacracy. No, that's cheating. Pathetic, weak mindset. π€‘
@Hoshi_Tokimitsu@DebbieM_1961@notrobbyboose@BobHealey18@Microinteracti1 FIFA executive has already stated FIFA's independent judicial and disciplinary bodies operate autonomously and applied the FIFA Disciplinary Code based on the specific facts of the case only. Ref didn't even call a foul and VAR broke the IFAB's Laws of the Game to encourage a red
@nanakhay01@TouchlineX The ref did not even call a foul. VAR called and gave the ref carefully cut slow motion clips to give a red card, cutting out critical context where Balogun falls so as to not put any weight on the other players foot/ankle. This is in complete violation of VAR's written protocols
@BobRowell1@Microinteracti1 Exactly. VAR broke its own written protocols to try and hand down a red card to a US player unfairly, giving the field ref only carefully cut slow motion clips to judge what he didn't even call a foul. Rules weren't followed so nullifying is the proper way to uphold the rules.
