@endless_frank @aaronbtrader Would be tough to accurately value ~ 700 stores located in various markets across the country. Land value entirely market dependent and many of the B and C locations probably have little to no upside on a land flip.
@mnolangray Great question! Restrictive zoning in desirable cities / neighborhoods is what prevents more housing from getting built. NIMBYs control what gets built in these areas. If developers were allowed to build denser housing in urban coastal cities, there would be no housing crisis imo
@bobbyfijan Sure, that’s a fair point. Tax code is a completely separate issue though. I think it would be better if we let institutions deploy capital into real estate through development of new assets, not acquiring existing homes. Just my opinion
