Native American Rodeo Cowboys of North and South Dakota Collection (H2016-054) consists of extensive research, compiled by Phil Baird, from historic newspapers and magazines of Native American cowboys and rodeo performers from the 1860s to the 2010s.

The collection lists those Native American individuals who were prominent in rodeo, ranching and entertainment. The bulk of the research dates from the 1950s to 2014.
