Meet our Regional Field Services team!
Field Officers play a vital role in keeping Ontario safe, practiced and prepared for emergencies. They work directly with communities on the ground across the province, to prepare and #ProtectOntario when emergencies happen.
Sharon & Mika attended the Hoss Memorial Teddy Bear Run this morning, a memorial motorcycle event. OPSEU hosted a fundraising breakfast supporting BOTG. The Salvation Army was accepting teddy bear donations for Toys for Tots. It was a great day! Thank you to everyone involved!
While responding to a fire earlier today in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, IAFF members were ambushed in a heinous act of violence. Two of our brothers were killed by a sniper, and a third brother remains in surgery.
Please keep them, their families, and law enforcement in your prayers.
Kim, Adele, Erika, and Timber went to the OPP Foot Pursuit Challenge at OPP HQ in Thunder Bay this morning. All proceeds will be donated to BOTG. Thanks to all involved in the event!
I will speak to any and every politician who wishes to learn more about this awful #LTC regulation. 🙏to @LiseVaugeois@chrisglover for caring enough to speak up and have this discussion with me 👇

I am gravely alarmed by the use of force by the United States against Iran today. This is a dangerous escalation in a region already on the edge – and a direct threat to international peace and security.
There is a growing risk that this conflict could rapidly get out of control – with catastrophic consequences for civilians, the region, and the world.
I call on Member States to de-escalate and to uphold their obligations under the @UN Charter and other rules of international law.
At this perilous hour, it is critical to avoid a spiral of chaos.
There is no military solution.
The only path forward is diplomacy.
The only hope is peace.
Evacuation Alert- Due to the evolving situation and increased fire behaviour of KEN020, residents and cottagers in the proximity of the fire are strongly encouraged to evacuate.

I imagine a Canada where every child and every family, every single one, has what they need when they need it in order to thrive.
It is possible.
This dammit is how you build a safe, kind country.
Get it through your head and vote tomorrow accordingly.
At the Public Safety Open House last night in Dryden, the OPP presented Boots On The Ground with a cheque for $1700! The fundraising was part of a hockey tournament that included First Responders from the Dryden area. Thanks to everyone involved!
We are so excited to support this free event for PSP and their families! You do not need to be registered for the Forum to attend! Thank you @ChiefPeggWH of @warriorhealthON and @SDBak coming and sharing about these great initiatives to support PSP!
President Trump is obsessed with my grandfather — but not in his life or what he achieved in it. No, just like @robertfkennedyjr @realdonaldtrump is only interested in JFK’s carcass.

This is not a surprise! Once again the Ford government making decisions with not thought or study. Why? Because they don’t care about vulnerable people. PERIOD!
We choose our words carefully and don’t use terms like catastrophic lightly. We know that our region and Ontario are facing a crisis if we lose our #Disability workforce! @MarcMillerVM you can make all the difference and help struggling families!
The Fall Economic Statement confirmed that the #CanadaDisabilityBenefit (CDB) will be tax-free. We appreciate it, but $6.66/day tax-free is still $6.66/day.
All parties must prioritize increasing the CDB.
