“Silent Presence” – Oil on Canvas (46 × 33 cm)
Between dream and reality, a gaze emerges — calm, imperfect, alive.
Not a portrait, but a presence.
Where symmetry ends, truth begins.

A dreamlike landscape by J. Deguez (2016) — a tranquil cabin nestled in an autumn forest, framed by flowing rapids. Soft brushwork, warm tones, and serene composition evoke solitude, nostalgia, and nature's quiet power. #Art #Painting #LandscapeArt

Just finished this oil painting:
Autumn Mist by the Water Temple
A quiet river, drifting boats, crimson trees, and a temple touched by light.
A place imagined — but almost remembered.

"Serge Deguez’s painting is a rare work — formally disciplined, emotionally ambiguous, and spiritually evocative. It doesn’t explain; it invites. A silent yet powerful presence that lingers long after the viewer looks away."

Toile Analysée par ChatGpt : The painting portrays a dreamlike scene where a piano transforms into a pond in a forest. Soft colors and fluid transitions create a surreal atmosphere. The inclusion of realistic elements contrasts with this dreamlike setting, adding intrigue.

Echoes of Time.
This painting masterfully captures the interplay of time and emotion, weaving surrealism and humanity into a compelling narrative. Its fragmented faces evoke introspection, mystery, and the fleeting nature of existence. by ChatGpt,
