@naomi_lawrence1 @ELLontario @JanisFoy A5 We are looking for ways to support our older ELLs in our community

[Sharon Johnson @SDJgecdsb]

@naomi_lawrence1 @ELLontario @JanisFoy A4 We're opening our PFLCs this summer during our program to support other family members age 0-6

[Sharon Johnson @SDJgecdsb]

@naomi_lawrence1 @ELLontario @JanisFoy A4 We also sent home learning game supplies so families could play with the child as the teacher

[Sharon Johnson @SDJgecdsb]

@naomi_lawrence1 @ELLontario @JanisFoy A4. We created sticky labels with 'Ask Me About ...' to spark daiky conversation btw parent and child

[Sharon Johnson @SDJgecdsb]

@naomi_lawrence1 @ELLontario @JanisFoy A3 We tried to have family breakfast together as often as we could during our summer program

[Sharon Johnson @SDJgecdsb]

@naomi_lawrence1 @JanisFoy @ELLontario Creating opportunities for shared experiences - swimming, games, favourite Read Alouda

[Sharon Johnson @SDJgecdsb]

@naomi_lawrence1 @JanisFoy @ELLontario Love the cooking together to share recipes from home and build community

[Sharon Johnson @SDJgecdsb]

@naomi_lawrence1 @JanisFoy @ELLontario With our young ELD students developing play-based learning activities helped academics and SEL

[Sharon Johnson @SDJgecdsb]

@JanisFoy @naomi_lawrence1 @ELLontario We also have a very narrow age group to maximize learning and experiences - age 6-9

[Sharon Johnson @SDJgecdsb]

@JanisFoy @ELLontario @naomi_lawrence1 We have tried to include siblings in our summer programs whenever possible

[Sharon Johnson @SDJgecdsb]

#ELLontario @naomi_lawrence1 @JanisFoy We also have had student volunteers in our program to support with communication
