EDWARD SNOWDEN JUST GAVE AN EXISTENTIAL WARNING TO ALL AMERICANS 🚨
“If you stick out, you will become non-normative, an anomaly.”
Snowden warns that within 5-10 years, big data will track every aspect of our lives on the blockchain in order to create predictive behavioral models.
These models will control whether or not you are given a loan, whether or not you will be hired for a new job, and how you participate in the marketplace. 🤯
This 2-minute clip of Snowden at the Bitcoin Conference in Nashville is mandatory listening. 👇
Ryan Smith turned a corporate survey company into a $5 billion sports empire.
Here's the story 👇
Ryan Smith dropped out of college to start a survey company called Qualtrics with his dad.
It was initially just a way for Ryan to spend time with his dad while he battled cancer.
But his dad gradually got better, and the company became massive.
The family initially used savings to bootstrap the business and eventually sold Qualtrics for $8 billion.
But rather than retiring on a beach, Ryan used his money to fund his passion for sports.
Ryan started by purchasing the Utah Jazz for $1.6 billion.
He didn’t even negotiate the deal — Ryan just pulled out his phone, offered the valuation number on Forbes, and the owner accepted.
But Ryan didn’t stop there.
Ryan has spent the last several years building a holding company around the Utah Jazz.
He purchased MLS club Real Salt Lake for $400 million.
He then acquired the NWSL’s Utah Royals for $2 million.
And he has now purchased a yet-to-be-named NHL team for $1.2 billion.
Ryan is already up a few billion dollars on paper — but that's not even the best part.
After buying the Utah Jazz, Ryan Smith implemented one of the most remarkable initiatives in all of sports.
For every game the Jazz win, the team awards a full, tuition-free, four-year scholarship to an underrepresented or minority kid.
These kids are often the first people in their families to go to college, and the Jazz have spent millions so far, awarding 114 scholarships over the first two years.
Now that's incredible 👏

NEW: Neuralink patient who is paralyzed from the shoulders down plays online chess through the @neuralink device in his head.
This is insane.
The patient, Nolan, could be seen scrolling around on his computer by using his brain.
"I love playing chess so this is one of the things that y'all have enabled me to do."
Nolan was previously in a diving accident and became paralyzed.
This is awesome! He looks so happy.
