2015 Torrey Pines grad CJ Stubbs has been called up by the Washington Nationals for his MLB debut.

Stubbs pitched and caught at USC before becoming a 10th round pick in 2019.

He joins Riley Adams (Canyon Crest) as the other catcher on the Nationals roster.

2019 Carlsbad grad Drew Sommers has been called up by the Detroit Tigers for his MLB debut.

Sommers struck out 118 batters during his three varsity seasons for the Lancers.

2021 Torrey Pines grad Carson Williams has been called up by the Tampa Bay Rays for his MLB debut.

Williams was the 28th overall pick in the 2021 draft after hitting .495 with 11 home runs, 10 doubles and 34 stolen bases during his senior season with the Falcons.
