Probation’s new Integrated Healthcare Service Unit (IHSU) held their first full staff meeting last week!  The IHSU was developed to improve the Medical & Behavioral Health services for youth in custody and adults and youth under community supervision.

The County of San Diego Probation Department extends heartfelt condolences to Sergeant Deng’s family, the LAPD, and the community. Sergeant Deng tragically lost his life in the line of duty on June 23.

His sacrifice will never be forgotten. May he rest in peace.
