@GrahamSpiers I cannot believe Paul McGinley's comments it's like the masters committee have got the power to change nature only an Irishman could utter these words that I'm about to attach to this post. I am absolutely pissing myself.
This news today from @HawksheadBrewer isn’t surprising 🙄😢 What was once a fab Cumbrian brewery has now gone the way of the usual corporate. Why the need for growth? What’s wrong with being a local small/medium brewery?🤔
Money talks. Crap ale walks 👇

I’ve not supped the brewery’s wares since staff were made redundant (but have since set up a new brewery in Kendal). And lots of local pubs I know don’t bother with Hawkshead ales anymore either.
Reminds of when Jennings Brewery in Cockermouth was sold to Marstons years back.
It was clear then the historic brewery would eventually close and now all of them wares are brewed in Burton-on-Trent 🙄
@sthelenscouncil Hi Green Bin collections did not turn up this week in Park Street Haydock. Should have been collected Tuesday. Left bin out for Weds, Thurs and Friday. Can you advise when will be collected as green bin full and a paid for service and need empty bin to continue with gardening.
👏 Thank you @LaylaMoran for asking Treasury ministers about CAMRA's campaign ahead of the Budget for targeted support for consumers, pubs and small breweries by reducing tax specifically on draught beer to encouraging consumption in the regulated setting of a community local.
🙏 Thank you to Green MP @CarolineLucas for asking Treasury ministers questions about our ‘Make it 20%’ campaign!
🍺 Reducing tax specifically on draught beer and cider will target support at consumers, community pubs and independent breweries.
This is becoming all too regular, if it’s not this, it’s divots on greens. Un repaired pitchmarks or bunkers with countless footprints in hours after being raked.
The climate is a challenge enough without Golf Course Etiquette getting worse by the year #golf#greenkeeping
