It is part of the National Tree Planting Campaign recently launched by HE President William Ruto.

A head on collision accident has occurred, this morning, involving two trailer trucks at Governor, between Mai Mahiu and Naivasha. The two trucks caught fire on impact, which has, however, been put under control. Police are currently controlling traffic flow.
Today marked Day 2 of the ongoing Stakeholder Workshop on Consultancy Services for Review and Updating of Road Design Manual and Standard Specification for Kenya, at KICC.

The Kenya Urban Roads Association (KURA) in association with the Upper Hill District Association, the Kenya Forest Service and the Ministry of Roads and Transport today planted over 3000 trees along its road reserves in the Upper Hill region.
He said that they had signed an MOU with the Kenya Forest Service to plant trees along road reserves that are on all urban roads constructed under their Agency.
