As we finish the Fall tournaments and start to roll into the Spring semester, don’t forget: SDSU is the 2023 National Championship runner-up!*

Second game against UCI Y is a tough loss, 7-12. A bunch of minions ran circles around our reset defenders and Charlie Brown roofed us a couple times.
Third game vs. Occidental is a HUGE W. Down 7-5 at half we charge back to win 8-7, hold-break-break.
Imagine being a bid-earner all year and then losing two games to go at Regionals
Couldn’t be us…..couldn’t be us…..don’t think about 2011…..don’t think about it…..
Update #2: we win a rollercoaster of a game to start Sunday against Nevada-Reno on universe (11-10), then lose to USC…meaning we finish 10th in the Southwest! Higher Regionals finish than 2013, 2016, and 2018!
I think that means we’re objectively better than those Fed teams?
Regionals Update:
Lost to Cal 12-2
Beat UC Davis on universe 11-10
Lost to UC San Diego 10-4
Windy day, missing a lot of players, still battled in every game. That’s the end of our run, but we accomplished our goals this year and will be back next year hungry for more!
No retreating to the safety of their high mesa in San Diego now. It’s do, or die.
Ahead of them, on the red cup-infested street of Del Playa, they see their first opponent: UC Berkeley, carrying their patented Calzone. At high noon (or like 1:15 PM idk), they’ll face off.
The sun breaks over the mountains, shining light on the lawless, godforsaken town known as Goleta. Bloodshot eyes nervously peek out from behind dusty windows, dreading what’s to come.
In they strut upon their horses, for the bloody showdown known as “Regionals.” The Federales.
Cole with the final catch to end the first game with a 13-8 win. Broke 3 straight times to start the game and never looked back. Next game is against Stanford B.
7-4 Feds up at half. A few nice plays from the first half Gavin Henry finds cole for a wide open score. While the pride of the DR scored in the front of the endzone with a layout catch!!!
