Before beginning any important work, I always touch the sacred soil of South 24 Parganas and seek the blessings of its people. It was from South 24 Parganas that the wheels of change began turning in 2008. And now, in 2026, it is South 24 Parganas that will set in motion the inevitable downfall of Bangla-Birodhi BJP.
Today, from Patharpratima, I take upon my shoulders the full responsibility for the holistic development of this region. Every need, every aspiration of the people here will be fulfilled once our Maa-Mati-Manush Government returns to power. But the people of Patharpratima have the responsibility to ensure a thunderous, resounding victory for our candidate Shri Samir Kumar Jana.
This election is about delivering a befitting, crushing response to BJP, to their conspiracies, to the suffering and humiliation they have inflicted on the people of Bengal. Let #BoycottBJP roar from every corner of Patharpratima.

This is precisely why judicial authority was diluted and the Chief Justice of India was removed from the CEC selection panel. If this trajectory continues, it won’t be long before Supreme Court judgments appear politically stamped.
Those sworn to protect the Constitution are now chipping away at its very foundations to serve narrow political ends. A BETRAYAL OF BOTH DUTY AND DEMOCRACY.
What a troubling decline for our institutions!
If this is the “PARIVARTAN” BJP promises Bengal- abuse, vulgarity and attacks on our Chief Minister- then Bengal rejects it outright. Insulting her is an insult to every Bengali and every woman of this state.
A minion from Uttar Pradesh using such language and facing no consequences exposes BJP’s true character. This is their “DOUBLE ENGINE” model.
Will the @ECISVEEP , @PMOIndia , @HMOIndia@CMOfficeUP act?
BENGAL is watching and the ANSWER will come loud and clear on 4th May!
On the auspicious occasion of Eid, I extend my heartfelt greetings to everyone and express my gratitude to all those who gathered at Red Road to celebrate this festival in a spirit of peace and brotherhood. I pray that your Roza is accepted and that the values of compassion and unity continue to guide us.
Eid reminds us of the enduring principles of patience, love, and togetherness that define our shared humanity. Bengal has always upheld this ethos, where communities come together to celebrate each other’s traditions, reinforcing a culture of mutual respect and harmony.
At a time when divisive forces seek to pit one against another, we must remain united. India belongs equally to all its people, and its strength lies in its diversity. I am confident that the people of Bengal will continue to reject hatred and stand in defence of our collective spirit. May peace, good health, and prosperity be with all.
Eid Mubarak.
Eid Mubarak to everyone celebrating.
On this auspicious occasion, I extend my warmest greetings to all. Eid is a time of reflection, compassion and togetherness, values that strengthen the social fabric of our nation.
May this festival bring peace, prosperity and happiness to every home, and reinforce our shared commitment to harmony, mutual respect and unity.
Today, I was once again touched by the warmth and affection of the people of Jalpaiguri, who have always received me with such generosity of spirit. I was glad to spend time with local residents, engaging in meaningful interactions and sharing in moments of spontaneous cultural expression that reflect the rich ethos of our land. The people of Bengal remain closest to my heart. They are my greatest strength and inspiration.
I also had the opportunity to visit St. Lucy Church in Batabari, where I interacted with members of the community and the Fathers, and offered my prayers for peace, prosperity, and the well-being of all. I pray to the Almighty to guide us, protect us from forces of division and discrimination, and keep us united as one family.
Remembering Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Shivaram Hari Rajguru, and Sukhdev Thapar on the anniversary of their martyrdom.
Their courage remains the bedrock of our democratic values.
On this Shaheed Diwas, we pledge to uphold the ideals of justice and freedom they fought for. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Eid Mubarak to all! On this auspicious occasion, I extend my heartfelt greetings to everyone who joined the celebrations at Red Road. I pray that peace, compassion, and harmony prevail in every home. Today, I also visited Collin Lane, Ripon Street, and Beck Bagan, where I interacted with residents and was deeply touched by their warmth, affection, and blessings.
I remain deeply concerned about the ongoing challenges faced by many citizens regarding their rightful place in the electoral rolls. I have approached the appropriate legal forums, including the Hon’ble courts, with the hope that the constitutional rights of every individual will be protected. I want to assure the people of Bengal that I stand with each one of you, across all religions, castes, and communities, as a member of your family.
At a time when divisive forces seek to fracture our social fabric, we must remain committed to unity and mutual respect. Bengal has always stood as a beacon of inclusiveness, where every faith is honoured and every voice matters. Let us continue to uphold the values of peace, fraternity, and dignity that define us.
I have respect for you, President Madam. But please do not play politics during elections as per @BJP4India’s advice.
You should know how many tribal people were affected under BJP’s rigged SIR exercise, how many of them were removed and what they have been forced to go through.
Look at the difference. See what we have done for tribal communities in Bengal and then look at what has happened to tribals in many other states.
And tell me something, when tribals were suffering during the violence in Manipur, when they were being attacked and humiliated, why did we not hear your voice then?
