During the month of March and the beginning of April, we will be having our yearly “book battle” between the top books in four different categories. The book with the top votes will win each round.
Pick up a bracket form at the Circulation desk, Periodicals desk, Heather MacDonald Greene Multimedia Center, Arts Resource Center (River Campus) or print out a copy of the image below. Fill out your choices and return it to any of the service areas listed by Tuesday, March 8th.
Come celebrate Earth Day on April 22 from 9 am to noon with Kent Library and Mississippi Mugs on the library’s portico! Bring an old t-shirt to up-cycle with screen printing or to make a book bag, buy a plant and a hand made pot, and learn about sustainability practices.
The Department of Art and Design will be on hand along with the Hutson Greenhouse and SEMO Sustainability Club. Visit all the vendors and receive a free beverage from Mississippi Mugs.
