After an amazing Bonanza Day on Tuesday, Year 6 can't wait to welcome in parents in this afternoon to our Leavers' Assembly. Then it's party time this evening for our Leavers' Disco!

In PE this week we have been developing our balance, strength and coordination by challenging ourselves using different gymnastics equipment. The children thoroughly enjoyed exploring the different equipment demonstrating our school vales of ambition and resilience.
On Friday our Reception classes watched England take part in a penalty shoot out before taking part in our own. We listened to sweet Caroline and danced to Waka waka.

Year 5 and 6 were really lucky to have Charlie from the Scouts in to share all about the exciting things which take place at St. Giles and George Scout group. The children had loads of questions about the badges on offer. Further details are available in the attached photos.

This afternoon, children in Year 6 have been writing letters home about their experiences as an evacuee - en francais! This has pulled on their learning from our last 6 weeks of French lessons, History lessons and even the poetry unit we completed at Christmas.
The children have adapted wonderfully and enjoyed an amazing day. We just finished dinner, and everyone has eaten wellβsome even went for seconds! We're so proud of how theyβve embraced every activity! ππ½οΈ
