Why is the first instinct always to target people who worked, paid in and planned for retirement - rather than reform a welfare system forecast to rise from £333bn this year to £407bn by 2030–31?

Protect those with severe disability.

LBut restore a serious expectation that those who can work should prepare for, seek and take work.

Am I British?

You can’t pray in a moving vehicle. You can’t pray on wheels. You can’t pray towards another human being. You can’t pray in a place owned by someone else without explicit permission (look up “ghasb” in Islamic Jurisdiction.) You can’t pray to any direction other than Mecca (a moving vehicle changes that direction!) You can’t pray in a place you aren’t a hundred percent sure isn’t najis (a dog walking on that train makes it najis and your prayer is not acceptable.) You can’t pray in a loud, noisy place. You can’t pray anywhere that you might get distracted. You can’t pray while people are walking in front of you. You can’t pray if you aren’t completely clean and the ground you’re praying on is also completely clean. Do you get it or do you need me to continue? This isn’t a matter of prayer and religion. This is purely a show of force and intimidation. Respond accordingly.
