@razibkhan I don't know if these elements are meaningful or just coincidence.
"Skinny" is east-slope, windward side of the range. Generally wetter and lusher, heavy focus on outdoors.
The "fattest" part correlates VERY strongly with a map of coal Appalachian coal mining.
People can analyze, hypothesize, blame Dems till they are blue in the face. None of it matters.
This is the game right here.
Misinformation works. Those that believed misinformation voted Trump. Those that believed the truth voted Harris.
There is NO candidate that can change this.
Republicans have a well oiled propaganda machine that spans all media platforms and we do not.
Period.
@EOTWoffgrid@MrsButters The reality is that either Harris or Trump will win. No one else has a chance. And while I agree that we don't suddenly end the polarization in this country with a Harris win, it does provide a higher probability of moving us in that direction than a Trump win does.
“Kamala Harris will protect your right to disagree with her” is one of the most powerful statements made yet in support of this ticket.
Thank you, Harrison Ford. 🗳️💙
@doodlestein@EYakoby Since there hasn't been an open, free election in Gaza since 2006, what data are you using to support the argument that 90% of the residents support Gaza?
@oldenoughtosay The issue of why PR isn't a state is way more complicated than just "whelp, racism!" It plays a role, especially in the history of how we got to the current state, but there are many, complicated, factors at play (not least of which is State vs Independence vs Status Quo).
@theEndisNAAY@BriannaWu@JeffBezos In general, I've seen a similar emotional reaction to the LAT decision. I think the fall out is different because A) WP has a broadly more national audience, B) DC politics is perceived as WP's beat, and C) WP's tagline and history makes it seem like we should expect more.
@BriannaWu@JeffBezos We are judged by our actions, not our intentions. The stated motivation may be true. Had he made this call 6 months ago, I think it would have been accepted.
But he did it within hours of the endorsement going to press. So this sounds like a hollow justification.
After the rally, Mark Ruffalo is asked about Gaza, a topic he’s been outspoken about.
“There’s no perfect candidate right now, but we know what Trump will do.”
“Our chances of changing her positions inside the White House, are better than they’ll ever be with Trump.”
I voted yesterday. Sharing my thoughts because I think it’s healthy in our political system for people to be open about their political choices. You’re welcome to disagree.
Thread since I don’t pay for this:
Back in the day Mick Foley was my wresting guy and now he’s entered the chat for Kamala Harris with a message to America and Donald Trump….very worthwhile 4 minutes here🔥
@TheCinesthetic Star Wars: A New Hope
Yes, they blew up the Death Star, but the Empire now knows exactly where the Rabels' main military base is. That medal ceremony is nice, but y'all need to GTFO ASAP.
