Javeayah Kemauni Harris (4) is still missing from Aiken County, South Carolina.

The sheriff’s office shared more information about her disappearance during a press conference today.

Police were called on June 30 at 8:43pm about a missing child. Javeayah’s mother said she last saw her in the chicken coop playing with chickens around 8pm. Javeayah’s father came home around 9pm and told law enforcement he had been at the laundromat for an hour and a half washing clothes.

That is about as much information law enforcement felt comfortable sharing with the public at this time.

Javeayah Kemauni Harris (4) was last seen Tuesday around 8:43pm in Aiken County, South Carolina. She is possibly non-verbal and autistic and may not be able to communicate. Javeayah is wearing pink Minnie Mouse pajamas and crocs and has braided hair.

MISSING: Search Continues for 4-Year-Old Javeayah Harris in South Carolina

Authorities are continuing an extensive search for 4-year-old Javeayah Harris, who disappeared Tuesday evening from her family home near Hillsboro Street and Ridgecrest Road in Aiken, South Carolina.

According to investigators, Javeayah was last seen around 8:15 p.m. on June 30. She is described as 3 feet 6 inches tall, weighs 42 pounds, and was last seen wearing Minnie Mouse pajamas, pink beads in her braided hair, and possibly Crocs. Officials say she may be able to fit into small spaces.

Javeayah is described as a smart, talkative, and friendly little girl who loves Minnie Mouse and enjoys chasing chickens.

The search involves multiple agencies, including the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office, SLED, the FBI, and several local law enforcement departments. Investigators are asking residents to carefully check their property, including sheds, outbuildings, vehicles, wooded areas, and anywhere a young child could hide.

Anyone who has seen Javeayah or has information about her whereabouts is urged to call the dedicated tip line at [phone]. Officials stress that no tip is too small.
